Leone B & B
Leone B & B is a 3-room B & B, each bedroom with its own bathroom. Two of the bathrooms are ensuite, and one is private but not ensuite (it is in the hallway next to the room); however, please note that the owner cannot guarantee in advance that a guest will receive a room with ensuite bath, as she organizes the room plan according to her reservation schedule. There is a large living room/breakfast room for socializing and a small corner kitchen. The apartment is in a 1900s building in the upscale neighborhood of Prati next to Vatican City. From the building St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Museums are only a few blocks away.

nancy was so helpful and sweet she spent a lot of time to make sure we were ok proximity to vatican
mattress coat of paint on the wall no breakfast on the third day
helpful directions to place left out which way to turn once off metro caused us to walk several blocks more to find the place

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la propriétaire du B&B (Nancy) pour son accueil chaleureux ainsi que pour les bons conseils qu'elle nous a donné pour découvrir Rome. Elle s'est rendue disponible et c'était très agréable de pouvoir parler en français avec elle. L'appartement était agréable et très bien situé.
L'équipement de la cuisine pourrait être amélioré avec la mise à disposition d'un four à micro-ondes et d'une bouilloire.

We loved everything about Nancy's B&B! First off, Nancy was amazing. We coordinated with her when we were to arrive in Rome, and she was waiting at the B&B for us. She then spent the next hour with us, helping with our itinerary, making sure we all of the 'best' in our short 2 days. Our room was very comfortable and clean, great central location (only a few blocks from the Metro) and exactly what we needed in Rome. We hope to visit Rome again someday, and will definitely be staying at Nancy's place!
Steve, and Cross-Pollinate were great - very timely on responses and great recommendations, helping sort through the many options on the website.

Perfect location 2 blocks from the Vatican. Sparkling clean. Plenty of room. Well stocked kitchen. Comfortable bed. Safe. Simple Italian decor without being too ornate. Best price. Personal service. Actually looks even better than the picture.
Headboard on bed to match the furniture.
I was worried about finding the owner because I was 2 hours late arriving. Owner's assistant lives in the building so he checked us in. I will use Cross- Pollinate every trip. Keep up the good work.
