Cross-Pollinate are great - the descriptions are accurate and they are very responsive to questions. - Dominique Bayne
Cross Pollinate was just the best. I had tried a couple of places before coming upon them. As soon as I sent the first email I stopped looking for any more websites. I just wish they expanded to every city in Europe. Their knowledge, helpfulness, etc. was second to none. - Caroline Collis
B & B Atos
We've never once received a complaint for B & B Atos -- and we've had them on the site since 2004. Gabriella, the friendly Italian woman who owns it and does just about everything herself, keeps her 3 rooms extremely clean, always has her availability perfectly updated, and keeps everything looking brand-new all the time. In March 2010, I stopped by and took some new photos and see absolutely no difference between them and the originals. Her place just doesn't age!

Her English isn't top-notch but she manages to communicate just fine with her guests and always gets rave reviews for her kindness and helpfulness. All the rooms have marble floors, ensuite bathrooms (with shower stalls, no tub), TVs, built-in mini-safes, and air-conditioning (at a small extra fee).

The neighborhood, the north side of Termini Station, is known for its convenience, both in getting in and out of the city as well as getting around to all the sites of Rome. Since 2000, with the big Holy Year Jubilee, this neighborhood has been constantly renovated and is very safe and well-maintained. It's not as densely populated with restaurants and cafés as the historic center, but there are some places we highly recommend: the Neapolitan restaurant and pizzeria "Meid in Nepols" on Via Varese, and the well-known wine bar/restaurant "Trimani" on Via Goito. The extensive bus and subway network hub of Termini are only a few blocks away, so getting around is easy, and there are plenty of services for tourists - internet points, laundromats, pharmacy, etc.

What we like is the proximity to the Termini and Underground, the presentation and cleanliness of the rooms , availability of Wi Fi and a major attraction - Gabriella. These attractions are the reason for our bookings over many years.

I have used Cross-Pollinate for this booking and others for many years and have found it to be an excellent contact

Gabriella is always so friendly and helpful. Clean room and convenient location. As a women travelling alone I always feel safe here.
WiFi was not the best. Better breakfast location. There’s a great bakery/ cafe just a few doors down which had more options for breakfast.
Very simple and trustworthy site. Would recommend this service.

Perfect location near Termini station for our one night stay in Rome. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and Gabriella is the perfect host. This was our second time staying here and we would gladly do so again!

I've been using Cross-Pollinate for years and love the company's personal touch, from the way property descriptions are written so I can really get a sense of the local neighborhood to the booking process and beyond. I also value their resourcefulness and responsiveness whenever I have a question before or during my stay. Thank you!

The owner, Gabriella, was very friendly and helpful. Location of apartment was convenient, within walking distance of Termini train station. Room was clean but slightly small.
Water pressure and temperature of hot water for the shower could be stronger and higher.
Very user-friendly.
Barbara Sanders on May 2018:

Location was excellent; while so close to the train station which was so convenient for getting around town it was very quiet. Gabriella was very caring and helpful.the facility was exceptionally clean and well taken care of.

Atos B&B is a great location, just a short walking distance to Termini rail and metro hub. It's always clean and secure. Gabriela is very helpful and friendly. We have stayed here multiple times and would check here first if we come back to Rome.

Cross Pollinate worked real well for the booking and updates. I did need to contact them to help reach the owner with an update on arrival time. I had a response back very quickly from Cross Pollinate. I'd recommend them to anyone for a trip in the region. I have used them before for other spots in Italy, and had a great experience each time.

Very comfortable and spacious accommodation! Everything worked perfectly. Appreciated safety and convenience to food, shopping and sites.
Cross-Pollinate was a great experience. We were even able to go to the associated hostel to print some tickets when we found out our host didn't have a printer. It was very convenient and they thoroughly vetted the associated accommodations.
Peg on Jul 2017:

Location is scary, but really good actually, with police station right across the street. Easy walk from Termini train station. Very clean room; friendly, helpful Gabriel is very accommodating.
Free tickets to breakfast across the street were a nice idea but the food was not good: warm orange juice and a dried-out croissaint. We did not use our tickets on the second morning. The previous cafe around the corner was better.
very responsive
Lynda Prest on Jul 2017:

I found the accomodation very clean and comfortable, the host Gabriella very pleasant and I felt very safe in this bed and breakfast. Also it was very handy to the Termini station.

Roxanne on Apr 2016:

The convenient location is perfect. The owners keep this B&B EMACULATE!! We rebooked this room on our way home because we were more than satisfied. They were there to greet us . Hassle free. We also had our luggage delayed by the Airline for 3 days and all members of this family worked very hard to arrange having our bags found, processed through customs and hand delivered to our room! Outstanding service, Not sure you would receive that attention from a name brand Hotel. Please do not hesitate to stay here.Thank You Again to Gabriela and her family for making a what could have been a very uncomfortable start to our holiday a Pleasure!????????

Perfect! Hassle free.

The room is big and super clean. It is close to the station. We also enjoyed having breakfast in local cafe, same as locals.
Manmeet on Oct 2015:

Stayed with my wife, Excellent location, walking distance from termini and major sights. Located in a noise free street. Property is super clean, whatever is needed is provided in the room, refrigerator, safe, hairdryer etc. Amenities are good. Gabriella, the host is very caring & helpful, in fact first day had to take a medicine, so asked her to provide warm drinking water, next day she had without asking. placed a flask of hot water while we were away. Though her English is not excellent but sufficient for conversation . Breakfast provided, is a coupon for a nearby cafe where you get a coffee with, croissant.
None I could think of
Excellent site, well reviewed properties
Melissa Mertz on Oct 2015:

The room was clean and quiet, which is nice considering the location. The breakfast was really nice, they gave you a voucher to go across the street and have a wonderful coffee and pastry!
The bathroom was very small with a noisy fan which went on ever time you turned the light on.
Cross-pollinate found us a great spot for a great value, I would certainly stay at B&B Atos again.
Anja on Oct 2015:

Gabriella was really nice and polite. The room was perfekt for sleeping deep and in a quiet atmosphere.

Aimee on Oct 2015:

Gabriella was a fantastic host! She was friendly and attentive throughout our four night stay at B&B Atos. Our room (the one pictured with the blue bedspread) appeared exactly the same in person. The room and bathroom were spotless, and the AC kept our room cool. If we wanted a breeze, it was easy to open the window and shutters. Also, the room was very quiet during the day and evening hours. Navigating to and from Termini was a quick and straightforward walk, which helped when arriving/departing with luggage. The included breakfast, provided from a cafe across the street, was tasty and served by friendly staff. Added bonus: close proximity to 2 outdoor water fountains and a great lunch and dinner restaurant on Via Varese. I would definitely stay here again if we return to Rome.
Nothing :)
We originally were planning to stay at The Beehive, but found out that no rooms were available during our time in Rome. We received a helpful list of available B&B's in the same area from Cross-Pollinate. The booking process was simple and quick, and we received reminders prior to check-in.

Because I was arriving in Rome on a Friday afternoon and taking a train south to Brindisi on Saturday morning, I was looking for a play to stay close to Termini. The location of B&B Atos was perfect! A very short walk to and from the train station. It is often difficult to book a room for just one night during high season, so I appreciated that I was able to do so here. I highly recommend the B&B Atos for a short stay in Rome.
Thanks, Super helpful and a really nice alternative to the usual booking sites.
Toni DeBella on Jul 2015:

Well, you know that I'm a regular customer of Cross-Pollinate and always use them, especially to book a room in Rome and I always try to book B&B Atos first (although they are often full, because it's so great)! I got lucky this time!
Nothing. Gabriella is the perfect host - pleasant, welcoming and my room is always ready for me.
It's important to me that when I travel - especially to a city where I don't know the neighborhoods - to have a booking site that actually personally hand-selects the rooms & apartments, as well as provides useful information about the city.
Florencia Belàustegui on Jun 2015:

Nos sentimos muy cómodos, el lugar es impecable, la ubicación excelente y Gabriela es muy cordial.
El malentendido con el tema del deposito con la tarjeta de crédito para la reserva. (Por la barrera idiomatica)

Our third visit to Gabriella's lovely B&B was just as good as the previous times. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and Gabriella is very welcoming. Good location a few minutes walk from Termini station, ideal for connections to/from Rome.

Very, very clean, large comfortable bed, very close to Termini (5 minute walk) yet away from all the hustle and bustle, and easy to find. Easy check in. Good internet connection.
A more substantial breakfast.
This is my first time and will definitely use them again. Quick response and they even contacted me about an item (a travel pillow) I left though didn't have enough time to go get it back. Definitely a satisfied customer.

Bnb Atos is run by the beautiful Gabriella who is really friendly and super helpful. The location is very handy to the Termini railway station and is a quiet, comfortable place to stay. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anybody who is passing through Rome for a couple of days!
Nothing!
Cross-pollinate makes finding a place to stay really easy and the reviews are very helpful :)
Michelle on Mar 2015:

The room was comfortable and well suited to three adults. We liked the convenient location, Gabrielle's friendliness and the neighborhood.
We walked past the door several times. I was looking for number 23 on a building. It would have been easier to find if I'd been told it was across the street from the pastry shop where we ate breakfast each morning.
This is the third time I've used them, and they've been great each time. I've stayed in lovely spots through them in Rome, twice, and once in Florence. Missed not finding a good spot through them in Venice, though! (They didn't have anything in my price range. It wasn't them).
Sharon cooper on Mar 2015:

Location was excellent. Loved the neighborhood feel
Bedding is very old and bare. Would be nice to have some new comforters
We stayed in Florence, Venice and Rome and had great luck in all 3 cities with value accommodation
Jenifer Williams on Oct 2014:

Close to the city centre. Lots of great eating places nearby. Lovely clean room .Oasis in the middle of busy, noisy Rome. One of the best places we have stayed around Europe.
Maybe one comfortable chair in the room.
Not much need for contact because always so efficient! Initial booking done promptly and accurate information. The taxi transfer to the airport was excellent too. Thanks!

Very helpful staff, clean large room, great location for getting to anywhere (just a couple of blocks from Termini station). Great restaurant recommendations.
Access to staff (not always on site).
Very good. Thanks.
Paul McAllister on Sep 2014:

Perfect room, perfect hostess. We would recommend B&B Atos (and Gabriella) to anyone visiting Rome who wants to be in a central location close to Termini - the transportation hub of Rome. It was literally a few minutes walk down Via Milazzo from Termini yet quiet.
Nothing! A great B&B.
As usual, Cross-Pollinate was fantastic. It's one of the hidden gems in planning a visit to Italy.
Earl on Sep 2014:

It was clean and cute. It was quiet. I liked the location near termini but it doesn't really bother me to walk or take public transportation to get around Rome. It wasn't a fancy breakfast but I enjoyed the little cafe across the street where we got pastry and coffee for breakfast (via the voucher supplied with room). I would stay there again.
Wifi doesn't work in the room but does work in the common entrance room just outside the door. Our room was air conditioned (for an extra 5 euros/day) but this common entrance room was not. There is no way to improve it and there is an elevator but these rooms are at least on the 6th story. Elevator stops in between floors so will have to climb some stairs at both top and bottom, in case impaired mobility climbing stairs an issue.
It was great! I would definitly use again.
Deborah on Sep 2014:

I really liked the friendly welcome and the contact that I had with Gabriella. The location of the B & B was perfect - so close to the station. While my stay here was my last night in Italy, I would definitely consider staying here as a base in Rome. It was clean, the beds were comfy and fairly quiet considering where it is!
Nothing :)
My experience with Cross-Pollinate has been a really positive one - this is the first time I have used it and would definitely do so again in the future! Having friendly and personal communications was a real bonus!
Toni DeBella on Sep 2014:

I stay at Gabriella's B&B Atos whenever I need to stay overnight in Rome because 1) the location is great (2 blocks from Termini), 2) the rooms are impeccably maintained and 3) Gabriella is a great owner - so sweet and welcoming. I couldn't speak more highly of B&B Atos if I tried!
There is nothing that I can think of that would make B&B Atos better. It's an awesome value.
Cross-Pollinate gives me something that other booking websites don't offer: Personal service. Steve and Amy always respond to my inquiries quickly. In fact, this particular time I had to fly back to the States at the last minute and Amy offered to contact the owner for me to change my original room reservation from a double to a single room saving me money and stress. She took care of everything for me.
Martyn Wright on May 2014:

Very comfortable for the price quoted. Close to the railway station and the piazza. very clean and tidy.
Person in charge speaking better English! Adequate though.
Very helpful and would certainly use again.
Melody Ballenger on Jun 2014:

The room was a welcome retreat after all the miles of walking we did each day. The room was also quiet, and immaculate! Gabriella was a wonderful hostess! We would highly recommend staying here.
Nothing.
We would definitely use Cross-Pollinate again. The booking process was very easy. We set up our taxi service to and from the airport through Cross-Pollinate and were very pleased with the ease of finding and communicating with our driver.
Patrick L. on Jun 2014:

A nice clean, modern room with bathroom and air conditioning that was just what we needed after a day on the train and march around Rome. The staff was incredibly helpful. A perfect place to spend our last night in Italy before heading home. The location was a easy walk from the train station.
I can't think of much that could be improved. The heavy metal door outside the B&B was a bit off-putting, but once inside this was a very nice place at a very good rate.
Cross-Pollinate helped us find three rooms for the three couples in our group that were right around the corner from each other. They were very helpful and I would use the service again.
Eric on Jun 2014:

The room was extremely clean and I loved the fact that it was literally a minute from Termini.
Nothing! It was great!!
Cross-pollinate really helped me out by pointing me in the right direction. Thanks to them, my first trip to Europe was a success!

Very clean and safe. Lovely welcome by landlady. Close to train station. Excellent value. Nice view from our room.
New bedspreads? They were a little dated.
Excellent experience. We would not have found this. B & B otherwise and it was an excellent suggestion.
Travis on May 2014:

Love the host, beautiful place, Great tall windows, very clean. fantastic place very close to the main train station.
Love it, will continue to use when I travel
Denise D\'Agostino Brubaker on May 2014:

I have stayed at B&B Atos during trips to Italy in October 2010 and May 2014. In each instance B&B Atos has been our home-base, flying in and out of Rome with travel in between. We could not ask for a better experience. The proprietor, Signora Gabriella, is friendly, kind, organized, efficient, and most helpful. She rents three very clean, comfortable, quiet, en-suite rooms in her apartment, separate from her own private quarters. The convenient location (a short walk from Termini station) makes it ideal for visiting Rome (handy access to both the Metro and numerous bus lines), day trips from Rome, the airport express train, or trains to other parts of the country. Lodging includes morning pastry and coffee at friendly Ola Bar across the street. During this trip we stayed at B&B Atos our first night of arrival before heading south to visit family, three days during the middle of our trip before heading north, and two final days at the end of the trip before flying home. Arriving at 9:00 a.m., Signora Gabriella allowed us to leave our bags until our room was ready; in the middle of our trip she also let us leave a bag containing gifts given to us by relatives so we would not have to carry them with us on our trip up to Venice and back. Each time we returned to B&B Atos it felt like coming home, an ideal way to bookend our travels. Grazie mille, Signora Gabriella!
No recommendations for improvement, however it is worth noting that the although the building has an elevator, there are about a dozen steps from the front entrance to the elevator and another half flight from the elevator up to B&B Atos.
We’ve used Cross-Pollinate in planning trips to Italy in 2004, 2007, 2010, and 2014. In 2004 a family emergency made it necessary to cancel the entire trip. Thankfully, Cross-Pollinate’s cancellation policy made the process very simple. I find the website to be very easy to navigate and the am confident that I can trust the details and descriptions to be complete and accurate. I especially like the personal touch when corresponding -- thank you, Amy and Steve!

The rooms, their offering, presentation, cleanliness and location but most of all Gabriella. We have patronised Atos for many years and are booked to return for a three night stay October 7 this year.

Again we have used Cross-Pollinate for many years essentially because the website offers significant well described choice and ease of booking e.g it was most helpful in my quest to reserve an apartment for a 10 night stay in Venice next March.

I had only one night in Rome, and wanted a place near the train station for logistical reasons. I was a bit nervous, worried it would be noisy or not a nice neighborhood. I turned out to be a lovely place to stay and would consider it even if I just wanted to spend time in Rome.
Great!

close to the train station , and in a nice neighborhood. Also it was very quiet. I would definitely stay there again.
very good experience.
Elizabeth on May 2014:

The room was very clean and comfortable, and we had everything we needed. The location near the Termini Station was especially convenient. Even though it was just a very short walk to the Termini, we weren't bothered by street noise. We asked Gabriella to suggest a restaurant, and her recommendation was excellent - we had a very good meal at Taverna Pretoriana.
Only one suggestion: it would be good to have an English translation of the form that we needed to sign when we checked in. This is a minor detail, but I was a little bit uncomfortable signing something that I didn't understand.
We were totally satisfied with the service provided by Cross-Pollinate and have been recommending it to people who may be traveling to Europe.
Vincent on May 2014:

The room was very very clean, Gabriella is very helpful. And the location is good, near from Termini Station and the bus stops to the airports. About 15 min from city center with the bus.
I know it's Rome but it's quite expensive. There is no discount when you stay 4 nights... It's a B&B but we have to take the breakfast outside, in a cafeteria (1 drink and 1 croissant). For 80 euros per night, the breakfast could be more important.
The CP staff is very helpful, they answer fastly to the mails and to the requests. Thank you very much !

This place was close to the train station, easy to find.
The hostess was not there when we arrived (although we had NOT contacted her regarding our arrival time prior to arrival). My husband had to walk down the street and find a phone to call her- she came within 5 minutes. Not a huge deal.
EXCELLENT

The owner apologies for not being there but the guests arrived 2 hours earlier than expected. Once called she was right over though.
Sara S. on Oct 2013:

The B&B was close to the Termini train station. We were using that as our main transportation around Italy so it was very conveniently located for us. We walked everywhere, never taking public transportation. Worked out fine. The B&B was easy to locate. Just look at the bell panel for the name for there is no larger signage on the building. Everything was clean and comfortable. Our hostess was friendly and helpful despite her limited english and our nonexistent command of the Italian language.
All good.
Loved the web site. It's great!!!!!

The location is on the 6th floor of the building, so there is a great view from the large windows (there was an elevator). We found the location perfect, close to the train & metro station in an vibrant, safe neighborhood. We felt very comfortable walking in the area at night. The owner was a delight and gave us vouchers for a European breakfast (espresso and fresh croissant) at a nearby cafe (very good). The wifi worked really well when sitting in the common area. The room was cleaned each day and we were given shampoo and soaps. We would recommend this spot to anybody and will stay there again.
Nothing needs to be improved. A+++++
Cross pollinate was extremely easy to use, professional, and gave us all the information we needed to find the location.
Wendy H. on Oct 2013:

It was very clean and comfortable with a very helpful owner.
Very helpful staff, thank you!
Patti H on Oct 2013:

It is very close to Termini railway station and the metro. Great for easy access to and from every where. The room and bed were comfortable. Not decorator- fancy, but basic and nice. Yet the location is fairly quiet for Rome. I would recommend it.
I wish there were more interesting restaurants around that location, but if you walk a bit you can find some good places to eat.
Easy to use site, excellent places to stay.
Kevin Noble on Oct 2013:

Gabriella was a wonderful host. She was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and bright. The location was convenient to the museums and places we wanted to visit.
nothing
Our meals at the restaurants recommended by Bee Hive, the Dell'Omo and the Meid In Napolis were very good. Cross Polinate was very helpful in recommending the B&B Atos.
Ian Tyers on Oct 2013:

The room(s), location and Gabriella - these are reasons why we stay at Atos every year we visit Rome our fourth stay and we will return 2014
Nothing
Very convenient and helpful with any problem that could arise with language
Patrick on Sep 2013:

The room is beautiful and clean the location is very nice as it is quite close to the train station/metro the lady (Gabriela) is very nice and accommodating. Be patient with her as her English is not her first language but she will be more than willing to help you out with anything.
The breakfast - although all of Italy seems to be like this - is a bit poor (croissant and an expresso). It would have been nice to have fruit or yogourt in addition to that.
Staff super helpful and very nice.
Sarah on Oct 2013:

Hospitality was great and very helpful. Room was very clean and close to train station. Perfect for the price! Would stay again.
Nothing
Very helpful throughout process.
Anna on Oct 2013:

B&B Atos, was clean and very close to the train station. The windows were excellent can completely sealed off the street noise! A huge plus in Rome.
The general comfort of the beds could be improved with some sort of topper or new mattress.
Overall working with cross-pollinate was easy and efficient!
Mauricio Díaz on Sep 2013:

Convenient location and reasonable price. Kind host and very clean premises.
Breakfast is very limited.
Very helpful, will continue to use it.
Kim Gordon on Sep 2013:

Gabriella - very helpful, welcoming, charming Location Cleanliness Value for money
Nothing
I asked Cross-pollinate to find a place based on our needs and they get a 5 out of 5 for perfection. I will always highly recommend them!
Fliss Newton on Jun 2013:

The location. Cleanliness; and wifi.
The breakfast is at a cafe and a coffee and bun. As I eat neither of these I had nothing! Maybe a reduction if you don't want breakfast? There were alot of stairs. The manager helped me by taking my bag in the lift. I am claustrophobic!
Great service to redirect
Ro on Jul 2013:

The accomodation was very clean and Gabrielle was lovely and she tried hard to communicate in English. It was in a good location and it was very quiet and extremely clean. Breakfast was very simple so buy some bananas from local spa!
The breakfast
Aaron on Jul 2013:

The staff was great. Very clean room and real close to the main train station.
I was unable to get the accommodation of choice due to business of time of year, and cross-pollinate did a great job of finding me a very nice place to stay.
Karen Goh on Jul 2013:
The cleanliness, cosiness, location, and warm hospitality of Gabriela. Certainly value for money.
Katie on Jul 2013:

B & B Atos is very close to the train station which makes it very convenient!
The owner gave directions in English to the cafe (for the complimentary breakfast), and she got her right and left mixed up. I ended up walking in the wrong direction and wandered around for a bit before I landed at the cafe which is very, very close to the B&B. It may be helpful to have a simple map on the back of complimentary breakfast ticket.
They were quick to respond to my last minute reservation request contacting me almost immediately. .
on Jul 2013:

The hotel was so close to the train station. I'm glad I opted for air-conditioning, and the WIFI worked well.
It would help if there was a sign on the side of the building. I walked right by the building! Only one bed was made, so I didn't have a choice of which bed to sleep in. That might sound silly, but I had already laid everything out for the next day on the wrong bed. Also I some difficulty communicating with the owner.
Thanks for facilitating my stay!
Huda Brooks Goldman on Jul 2013:

Everything! Gabriella is so nice and helpful! Also, the place was extra clean! I hope to stay again! Thank you!
Good site, and easy to use!
Todd and Laura on Jun 2013:

We stayed for 6 nights in June 2013. Gabriella was extremely helpful and the accommodations were spotless and in great condition! Very easy access to Termini station, and the bar (ie. cafe) across the street was a reasonable place to grab a croissant and espresso each morning. Really appreciated having a room safe as well for our valuables.
Really no problems at all. If we came back to Rome we'd stay at Atos again in a heartbeat. The signage is a bit hard to find on the front door buzzer but that seems typical for Rome. The accommodations are on the top floor so you either have to take the (small-ish) elevator or hike up the 6 flights of stairs. Wasn't an issue for us, but people with limited mobility or lots of luggage should probably be aware.
We had originally inquired about the Beehive itself but were more than happy with the excellent service provided by Steve and the Cross-Pollinate staff. It's an awesome idea and we hope it continues to spread and evolve!
Christina on Jun 2013:

Gabriella was very accommodating with our request for early check in and bag drop off. I was able to communicate easily with her via email to make these arrangements. The room was very clean and just as described. The rate included breakfast across the street (coffee/juice and a pastry).
Cross-Pollinate provided prompt email responses with questions and availability. I would use again!
Christopher on May 2013:

You can't beat the location if you are coming from Centrale Station. Very short walk. Friendly and easy to work with.
I didn't use the breakfast coupon, so I can't comment on how that is. I won't say it needs improvement, I just am disclosing my ranking doesn't include that part.
Couldn't be happier. I saved a ton of money going with the B&B's. I picked from the highest rated places and I wasn't disappointed.
Ninette on Jun 2013:

Friendly greeting, position of the apartment was perfect, close to Termini and everywhere accessible. Room was spacious, bathroom clean with good shower. Everything was very well organised. Very reasonably priced. Fourth floor but lift so no problem.
I know we say this everywhere in Italy. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would be wonderful.
Easy to use, very helpful in the booking stages. No complaints.
paige on Jun 2013:

Blocks away from Termini Station, so great for our last night in Rome. Comfortable and clean.
Wifi signal was very weak.
I love Cross-Pollinate! So helpful in planning our trip! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! :-)
David on May 2013:
An ideal location that is close to public transportation which made it easy to get around the city. A great value for the price.
Nikhil on May 2013:

Location near the train station. Nice restaurants nearby. Very clean and comfortable room. Very quick response to emails about booking.
Awesome experience. I also stayed in a 4 star hotel in Rome at the beginning of the trip and the service here was just as good if not better! This is the only establishment that ever contacted me when I left something behind! They also organized mailing it back to me.
Victor on May 2013:

Gabriella the owner was very friendly and even though she spoke only a little English she was helpful. The room and attached bath were immaculate. The bed was comfortable. The price compared to a hotel was a steal.
It should be noted that the rooms are on the 4th floor of the building. Have to go up 2 small flights of stairs to an elevator that takes you up to the rooms. Those with a lot of heavy suit cases should know this.
Had a great experience and if we ever decide to come to Rome again we will definitely use your service.
Jennine on May 2013:

The accommodations were very clean and centrally located (5 min walk to termini). Gabriella was very professional, kind, and available to help book taxi to the airport. Breakfast voucher is for coffee and pastry - a true Italian breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.
The area around the termini/b and b is a bit sketchy late at night but still wouldn't hesitate to stay here, as quick walk down main steet to get to accommodations at night.
The Bee Hive website offers a free restaurant guide for Rome. It was fabulous and eating at their recommended establishments was a highlight of our trip to Roma.
David on May 2013:

Excellent in every respect, from bed comfort to cleanliness to cost. Also, very professionally run.
Nothing. Location may be an issue for some, but wasn't for us.
A real trip-planning discovery for us. Helped us throughout Italy.
Robert on May 2013:

EXACTLY like the pictures and owner was there waiting
nothing comes to mind
Jo-Ann on May 2013:

Location! Very near Roma Termini and many cheap and good food outlets. The room was also very clean and very glad to have our own ensuite bathroom.
Wifi was a little unstable.
Will recommend friends to use cross-pollinate!
patty on Apr 2013:

very accommodating and affordable
Gabriela was very helpful
patty on Apr 2013:

Great accommodations Shower is roomy Service is great...good value
Bar Roberto pastries are excellent!!!! Gabriella is very nice
David on Apr 2013:

Great location - close to Beehive restaurant which was perfectly to our liking. Also, Atos was just what we were looking for in accommodation, pricing, location, etc.
A coupon for at least a discount at Beehive would have been appreciated, as coffee and a nutritionally-challenged pastry doesn't cut it.
Positive in all respects. We liked the choice in accommodation and your excellent little restaurant. Also, your blog is a great resource and we loved the episodes of the Food Police. Maybe you can figure out a way of recruiting more to deal with all the crimes against nutrition.
Charmaine on Apr 2013:
Very clean, nice big shower!
Norma on Apr 2013:

This was a lovely place! Was nice it had an elevator since it was on the 4th floor. Incredibly clean and cheery and the hostess was charming and kind. Very convenient to the train station also. I also considered it a very safe area since some places around the train station are a little sketchy. Would definitely stay there again.
very helpful!
Kshitij on Apr 2013:

The location was fantastic. Room was clean and functional. Gabriel was helpful.
Local information could have been better. The heating was not adequate. Taking the luggage up the steep stairs proved to be a task.
Melanie on Apr 2013:

Our hostess waited up for us to arrive at midnight, we were greeted with a pleasant smile and a quick check-in! The room was spotless and comfy. Just a few blocks from the main train station, an easy walk. Great stay!
Just perfect!
So glad to have found Cross-Pollinate through Rick Steves. They were so helpful in finding us a room at the Atos B & B! Well done! look forward to visiting Roma again with your help!
Erick on Apr 2013:

Location to the termini was great. Top floor with elevator made it easy to get there and it was quiet and comfortable. Our innkeeper was very most helpful and gracious.
Almost all the beds we have found in Italy are not very comfortable. I'd like a mattress that was not so hard. I like firm but not hard. But I think most of the mattresses are hard.
We continue to be pleased with the high quality and pleasant receptions at c-p accommodations.
Christopher on Oct 2012:

Great central location right next to Termini Station; comfortable bed; clean room with private bathroom; breakfast voucher for cafe across the street was great;
Very helpful. Our original reservations were cancelled. Cross-Pollinate staff found this location for us in the same vicinity and for the same price. It required very little effort on our end, which was especially great since we were already in the midst of our vacation when the cancellation took place.
James on Mar 2011:

The location near the train station was very convenient. The room had everything we look for - clean, comfortable, bright. We enjoyed our brief visits with the owner and found her to be very helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Nothing really. I could chip away at cost, and the size of the bathroom, but I don't think either were out of line from the norm. In fact, the opposite might be true.
Our experience with C-P went very well. I had faith in it from the start, because the people who originated it were recommended in Rick Steve's book
Robert on Jun 2012:

Being just a 100 metres walk from Stazione Termini was a huge plus especially when arriving late at night.
Nothing comes to mind
Eminently satisfactory. Would certainly use again.
MICHAEL on Oct 2012:
EXCELLENT B AND B IN A FANTASTICALLY CONVENIENT AREA CLOSE TO THE TERMINI STATION. VERY CLEAN, COSY AND WELCOMING. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Nathalie on May 2012:

The room was clean and the location was bang on.
Nothing that I can think of off the top of my head.
Steve and Linda were super helpful and although we were bummed that the Beehive was fully booked, we were happy that they were able to find us a safe and clean place to stay.
Joseph on Oct 2012:

The room was clean, comfortable and conveniently located. I feel rather silly putting a 5-star to everything, but Atos was a perfect fit into our Italy adventure and Cross Pollinate is simply a great resource for travel. I'll use them whenever I can for accommodations. We were coordinating a couple from the US with us from France and getting everything in order was made much easier through Cross Pollinate.
Thinking . . . thinking . . . Never mind

Heather on Dec 2012:
It was a great little B&B and I would happily go and stay there again.
Martha on May 2012:

My husband and I booked here the night before our cruise as it is so close to the Rome train station and had booked another hotel for when we returned from our cruise. After staying here, we decided to cancel the other hotel as we were so pleased with our stay at this B & B. Staff was extremely helpful especially in terms of recommending restaurants and booking a taxi to the airport. It is a very modest hotel so it wouldn't be appealing to those looking for fancier accommodations. We just weren't interested in spending our money on accommodations when we spent so little time there. Very clean, friendly, helpful and so accessible.
I'm so glad that my friend recommended Cross-Pollinate. I actually printed off the information they provided on Italy and took it with me. All recommendations they suggested were accurate.
Loic on May 2012:

clean rooms with a great price and very central location made this a perfect option. The friendly and giving staff also made the whole experience quite nice and all of our exchanged were incredibly warm
perhaps marking the apartments better on the street as it took a few times to locate the right place
Unbelievably friendly and warm staff who gladly gave expert travel advice and recommendations that only a Roman would normally be privy too
Marianne on Dec 2012:
Gabriella is sweet and so helpful.
Casey on Jun 2011:
Great Value in a quiet neighborhood. Host was extremely helpful with tips on how to make the most of our stay. Great restaurant recs.
Alice on Sep 2012:

The owner went out of her way to help in every way. She was very personable and keeps the place very clean. There was an elevator but yoou still had to take your suitcases up and down a flight of stairs which was a little difficult.
Nothing comes to mind.
June on May 2011:

The owner met us at the B&B although she did not live there, and although she spoke limited English, she was extremely helpful and friendly. The B&B was spotless and well cared for.
Make sure to get air conditioning because there is a bar nearby and sleeping early can be disturbed by the noise and smoke. The second night the owner did not leave the air conditioning control in the room which was a problem. Other than that, the room was very clean and was a short walk to the train station.
I found out about Cross-Pollinate from an article in the newspaper and I would definitely use it again. My sister used it in Madrid and Barcelona with great success too.
Kim on Jun 2011:

It is very easy to get to and from the train station. Stayed here two different years now and both times the women that checked me in was very nice and the room was VERY clean. Just basic and clean.
Can't be improved but just a fyi.... Once you take the elevator it is another floor up to carry suitcases. IF you pack light (NOT like me when I FIRST started traveling) but NOW I'm use to 1 smaller suitcase and 1 smaller back pack. Then the stairs are not so bad. You always know an American when you see all the suitcases. :)
I'm sold on this company. They are very professional to work with and will help in getting back with quick emails if need help. I have watched many of the educational YouTubes and find the videos fun & have helpful ideas, as well as wholesome and family orientated. Don't remember what I paid for this location.
Danae on Dec 2012:
We had a lovely experience staying at B&B Atos. Gabriella, the owner, was absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. The B&B is situated only half a block away from the Terravision bus stop (this is the bus that takes you from the Fiumicino Airport to the city center) which is very useful when you are coming with heavy luggage! A wonderful place to stay when discovering Rome!
Emily on Jun 2012:

Very clean, conveniently located next to the train station.
The wireless did not work.
Barbara on May 2012:

Spotlessly clean, friendly owner, easy walk to the train station, neighborhood was lively and pleasant.
Very easy to use. I only stayed at one one place, but other lodgings seem high quality and reasonably priced. Would definitely use this service again.
