This is a convenient little apartment very centrally located in Rome. Small but comfortable. The owner was super responsive and quick to fix a problem with the air conditioning.
There was a foul smell and yellow-brownish color in the hot water. Also, the linens and mattresses are tired and in need of an update.
The booking and listing was great. When we did have a problem, it was confusing about whom to contact. We did finally resolve it, but the uncertainty around figuring out who we were to contact was disconcerting.

We checked with the owner and she said there was no report regarding the water. Rome has extremely clean water too, so this is an anomaly. Also, the linens are all provided by a professional service who washes, sterilises and irons them, so they certainly shouldn't have been tired. It's the same laundry service used by pretty much every hotel in Rome.

We appreciated the kindness and punctuality of our hostess, as well as the convenient location of the apartment, how quiet the neighborhood was, the layout of the beds, the functioning washing machine and other appliances, and the overall cleanliness of the entire apartment. We were able to walk to many important places such as the Metro Station, a supermarket, and Trevi fountain, and the hostess oriented us and answered all of our questions.
We thought that the apartment was a bit small for four people, especially the kitchen, and that the elevator was a little cramped. We also wished for paper goods to be provided (such as paper towels, more toilet paper, tissues and napkins) and laundry detergent. The washing machine was a bit small and the Wifi signal on the weak side. Finally, the master bedroom was very dark due to a non-working lightbulb and weak lights.
We loved the adequate description of the apartment and the pictures, the ease of booking, and the promptness of communication with Cross-Pollinate. If we could have paid for the entire rental fee with our credit card, our experience with Cross-Pollinate would have been even better.
