Cecco's Inn
Cecco's INN is a recently renovated, bright two room apartment with AC and wifi. It's high up (on the 8th floor with elevator) and has a balcony, so you'll have plenty of view over the surrounding areas.

The flat is comprised of two rooms - one large bedroom with a double bed; and a second room with a double sofa bed which can be used as living room or bedroom, as well as a single bed. There's a narrow, but fully functional kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower located between the bedrooms.

The area is particular - it's outside the city walls and in a "newer" building, close to lots of shopping on Via Appia Nuova, and many parks, such as the Appia Antica. There's lots of restaurants and bars that are very local (this isn't a touristy area!) and thus probably better food at cheaper rates. It's also walking distance to the Tuscolana train station and the grungy/hip area of Pigneto. The red line subway is nearby and that can whisk you to Termini, Piazza di Spagna and the Vatican in about 30 minutes.

Cynthia Wooden on Jul 2017:
I enjoyed the spacious rooms and contemporary design of this apartment. The kitchen had everything we needed during our stay. The owner was so helpful and kind to us. I would definitely stay here again when we visit Rome. Very enjoyable and affordable!

A friend and I spent more than a week in Rome in mid March. Francesco was very friendly and helpful and waited for us as we arrived late in the evening and took the time to show us all we needed to know. The apartment more than fulfilled the expectations. The first surprise was that the rooms are much larger than was expected from the photos on the web page. The second surprise was how nice the apartment was furbished and with functional and nice furniture. With two big rooms my friend and I settled in in one big room each. Thanks to a small but well fitted kitchen we could do our own breakfast and dinner cooking. The apartment is located only a few underground stations south of Roma Termini, the main train station, which made it easy to go take the tube into town to watch all the historical sights or to Roma Termini for a daytrip to Pompeii by train. I can really recommend this apartment and I will surely stay there next time I come to Rome.

Cecco's Inn is perfect for a holiday in Rome. It is roomy and well furnished; very fine for the three of us adults. Francesco supplies much information on the immediate neighborhood with directions to restaurants and the supermarket. He supplies precise directions from the Metro to his apartment and offers his assistance, if needed. His extensive information on Rome's sites, tourist passes, and transportation options are very valuable to the tourist. All perfect! I would return here without hesitation and recommend it highly. Francesco is a very conscientious, accommodating and helpful host. This is the first time using Cross-Pollinate and it was very easy to use and they are extremely helpful and responsive. I hope to use their service in the future.

From the outset, Francesco communicated with us very well. He looked after us in every way possible and accommodated us with no hassles at all. The apartment suited my friend and I very well for the short time we stayed. It was comfortable, was very well equipped and there was no shortage of attention to detail from Francesco to ensure a positive experience. The location is very convenient and easy to find (thanks to Francesco's detailed instructions), and within 15 minutes you can find your way to most of Rome's major attractions via the metro. If you're put off by sofa beds, let me assure you, I slept extremely well on it... easily one of the most comfortable I've slept on! Regardless of whether your stay is short or long, give this apartment a go.

Perfect in every respect! The apartment is very easy to get to from FCO by train, and conveniently located for visiting the city centre by Metro. The apartment itself is very good, comfortable even for a family of 4, has everything you need, and very clean. Francesco provided lots of useful information for our trip and kept in touch to make sure everything was going well with our stay. When we come back, we'll be staying here!

Francesco met us at the station late in the day as our flight arrived 7pm. Great location reducing our travel time to places of interest on the frequent Metro trains. The apartment was very comfortable. A good night's sleep in a good bed-very important. Lots of information provided to help us plan our visit. Kitchen and bathroom well equipped. Great view to the bell tower and we enjoyed their music.Lift quaint but very reliable. No hesitation in recommending,24 hour supermarket nearby was terrific.
Valerie on Nov 2014:
Hospitality and service, roomy lodging, well-equipped kitchen, laundry, speedy wi-fi, and easy access to the Metro.

It was so nice to relax and unpack and enjoy our time in Rome in such a great location. We had a tonne of space and felt at home! We were able to pick up some fresh groceries, watch world cup and make some dinner after a long day of sightseeing. Francesco is a fabulous host who is readily available to assist his guests. He is very familiar with the city and gave us tonnes of tips about travelling. We had a wonderful stay!
We loved everything!

We stayed at Cecco Inn at the beginning and end of our vacation in Sept and loved our stay. The apartment is clean and spacious. It has 2 large rooms plus fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Flat screen tv and wifi. Francesco was great, he communicated with us prior to our arrival and even met us at the train station nearby. The apartment is located close to 2 metro stops and the historical area is 10 minutes away on metro. The train station, a supermarket, fruit stands and restaurants are all within a few blocks. For those who would like to stay outside the touristy area this is an ideal location. Francesco provides lots of helpful suggestions of nearby restaurants and amenities. If you stay here there is a wonderful family owned restaurant around the corner called Osteria del Cavaliere on via Alba. Also ask Francesco for the name of the pizzeria nearby that has great pizza that you can eat in or take back to the apartment to enjoy with a bottle of wine. The apartment is perfect for couples and families.
Nothing, the place is perfect. We originally only booked to stay at the beginning of our vacation but we loved the apt so much that when we knew what days we would be back in Rome at the end of our vacation we contacted Francesco to see if the apt was available, It was! So we stayed our last nights in Rome there.
Cross-Pollinate is easy to use and we recommend this website to all.
