![]() | more than I expected: very spacious, nicely furnished, and great location! in pedestrian-only plaza so very quiet at night but cafes and mini-markets all around. easy to walk to main attractions and just a 1/2 block to the river/Tiber Island. host/owner was extremely nice/helpful throughout the stay-- we stayed at this apt twice, first when we arrived in Rome and at the end of the trip before leaving for home |
![]() | water pressure in shower |
![]() | easy to select type/price of property you want, and Steve was always helpful/responsive. I will continue to recommend the website/service to others |
![]() | The location was absolutely great for our travels around Rome. We walked easily to many different places and the river was less than 5 minutes away. The apartment was elegant and spacious enough for 4 people and wonderfully warm. The Jewish Ghetto is a fascinating place to be in the middle of - ancient Rome on your doorstep, market, restaurants and community. |
![]() | More lighting over the dining area -very minor point:) |
![]() | Cross-Pollinate were very easy to deal with and their curating of apartments made it so much easier to choose an apartment in the cities we visited. |
![]() | We really enjoyed our stay here - the apartment was very quiet, clean, comfortable, spacious, well-equipped and perfectly located for sightseeing. |
![]() | Nothing. |
![]() | Having used Cross-Pollinate a number of times, we've found that the firm offers a convenient, personalized and ethical service, and, as satisfied customers, we've recommended the company to many of our friends. |
![]() | My husband and our two teenaged children spent a week in this lovely apartment. It's a great space and provided plenty of room for us. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom is very nice with plenty of hot water for 4 of us, and we were able (after a little trial and error) to use both the washing machine and dishwasher. The apartment was very quiet - the only sounds we heard with the windows open were church bells, birds and very occasionally, a car alarm - no street noise. The apartment is in a GREAT location - we walked just about everywhere we wanted to go in Rome from here. Also, right outside the street door, great restaurants abound. We found a large grocery store quite nearby (head right on V.d.Portico d'Ottavia to the end of the street, cross the trolley tracks and just past the little square there, look for a sign on the left side of the street pointing the direction to go for the Super Mercato) and the Campo d'Fiori with all it's great produce is about a 10 minute walk and so were able to purchase items for breakfasts in the apartment. We cooked a couple of dinners there as well. The kitchen is sparsely outfitted but has everything you'll need to prepare a straight forward meal. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! |
![]() | It would be great if some basic instructions for how to use the appliances were provided. Also, some larger drinking glasses would be great. |
![]() | I would highly recommend Cross-Pollinate to anyone traveling to Italy (or the other countries they serve). I had looked around at apartments online a fair amount before I stumbled across Cross-Pollinate and from then on, I didn't look at anything else. This apartment was just as advertised and it was great to know that if we had had any problems, there was someone we could call to help solve them. My only regret is that we didn't book an apartment through Cross-Pollinate for our stay in Florence! We were in a nice enough B&B which was centrally located but very loud at night and I spent the whole time wishing we were in a quiet apartment more on the outskirts of downtown - one of the ones I had looked at on Cross Pollinate's site but didn't choose in the end! My mistake. Thank you so much for providing this service. |
