Location can't be beat... A three minute walk to the Pantheon and Largo Argentina (with access to buses and taxis) is right down the street... in the heart of Rome! Plenty of space for 2-3 people, quiet, and cool with good AC.
Living room furniture could be upgraded to be more comfortable. A clothes washing machine would be great.
Cross Pollinate was great! We stayed in three places that all worked out beautifully!

The living room furniture is actually a sofa and two chairs in walnut wood from the 1800's, built for a cruise ship!

Location cannot be beat! Not only can you reach everything by foot (Pantheon, Piazza Navonna, Spanish Steps, Trevi fountain short walks, Vatican and Forum/Colosseum not much further), but you are next to one of the bysiest bus stops in Rome, with buses leaving to everywhere every 2 min. Absolutely great
Yes, the appartment is very dark, but this cannot be changed - it has practically no outside windows, just two small ones to inner courtyards.
Cross-Polinate was great resolving a booking problem, very good organization

This apartment was very centrally located, with many amenities close by. It was easy to find, and the owner met us at the door at the pre-arranged time. There were even travel books about Rome available. In our family of three children, a clean space, with two functioning bathrooms, kitchen, and 3 separate sleep spaces suited our needs perfectly!
Nothing that we could think of needed improving!
Cross-Pollinate was very helpful in guiding us in where to stay in Rome. All questions that we asked were answered promptly and with care. We had a great time in Rome!

The apartment was in an excellent location.
The apartment is darker and smaller/more claustrophobic than it looks on the web-site (though I suppose one can tell that if you are used to looking at the fish-eye lens view). Also, the furniture was somewhat dingey and old - for example, the leg on the coffee table was broken and the cushions on the couch were worn. That said, I think, given the location, it is a good value. Just don't expect a "luxury" apartment with modern sturdy furniture or a fresh coat of paint.
