B&B The Welcoming Dragon
The Welcoming Dragon is located between metro station Tolbiac (line 7) and metro station Olympiades (line 14) in Paris' Chinatown, which may be Europe's largest Chinatown. It is a lively, and safe area with many visitors and shoppers along with the families who live in the area.  On Metro Line 7, you have direct access to the Louvre Museum, Notre Dame de Paris and the historic Arènes de Lutèce (the Roman Arena) near the Latin Quarter. Taking Metro Line 14 from the Olympiades station, you are about 15 minutes away door-to-door from Châtelet, the center of Paris. There is also easy access to all 5 main train stations in Paris.

The one guestroom is 9.1m2 (or 100 square feet) in size with a French size double bed for one or two people. There is a beautiful private bathroom with large shower. All bathroom fixtures look brand new. The bedroom and private bathroom are connected by a private hallway where the closet is located. The room has recently been updated and guests can enjoy the new bed along with new sheets of 100% cotton and new bedroom furniture (2 night tables, writing desk and dresser).  Furthermore, the owner has used his years of experience in the hotel industry to make customized “design” headboard with light switches conveniently located within arm’s reach and 2 lights above for easy reading at night. Lastly, a new large soundproof window has been installed.

The owner, who lives in the apartment, is American and speaks English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Dutch and Japanese. So communication ought not to be a problem! He takes a lot of pride in his apartment and is very knowledgeable about the area.

Starting August 26, 2014, the exterior walls of the building will be resurfaced and painted. The company chosen to complete this resurfacing will put up scaffolding which may partially block the view from the bedroom window. The scaffolding will be taken down in mid-January 2015.
