Not exactly upon entering the apartment, but just one street over you'll feel like the EIffel Tower might just fall into your lap! It's literally a stone's throw way, right there in your face, bigger the you imagined it to be.
This might be enough said about the neighborhood already, but in case you were wondering: Yes, there's a metro stop just a few minutes away, as is the Seine river. The neighborhood is very nice and definitely more on the elegant side, a bit touristy of course (how could it not be with the EIffel Tower so close you could touch it) but at the same time quite unpretentious with many simple cafes, restaurants, bakeries, etc.
The apartment is 50 sq meters. The apartment itself is welcoming, with high quality appliances and furniture, as well as comfortable mattresses. It's situated in a well cared for building with a nice wooden staircase. Upon entering, you first step into a corridor (a nice feature not to enter directly in to the living room) with access to the small bathroom. At the end of said corridor you reach the living room with open kitchen and sofa bed, then the double bedroom with king size, four-poster bed. The second bedroom (with twin beds) is accessed from the first bedroom. All windows lead to a nice and quiet courtyard. Since it's on the 4th floor, you get a good amount of light and sun.
Mark, the owner, bought his apartment so his daughter would have an apartment in the best part of town when she goes to university one day (in over a decade!) but he's nice enough to share this treasure with visitors in the meantime. As he's very precise and professional about the rentals, guests will have a written agreement with him about all the details: for example, the damage deposit is charged by paypal before arrival and returned within 3 days of departure.
