Eiffel Tower Suite
Not exactly upon entering the apartment, but just one street over you'll feel like the EIffel Tower might just fall into your lap! It's literally a stone's throw way, right there in your face, bigger the you imagined it to be.

This might be enough said about the neighborhood already, but in case you were wondering: Yes, there's a metro stop just a few minutes away, as is the Seine river. The neighborhood is very nice and definitely more on the elegant side, a bit touristy of course (how could it not be with the EIffel Tower so close you could touch it) but at the same time quite unpretentious with many simple cafes, restaurants, bakeries, etc.

The apartment is 50 sq meters. The apartment itself is welcoming, with high quality appliances and furniture, as well as comfortable mattresses. It's situated in a well cared for building with a nice wooden staircase. Upon entering, you first step into a corridor (a nice feature not to enter directly in to the living room) with access to the small bathroom. At the end of said corridor you reach the living room with open kitchen and sofa bed, then the double bedroom with king size, four-poster bed. The second bedroom (with twin beds) is accessed from the first bedroom. All windows lead to a nice and quiet courtyard. Since it's on the 4th floor, you get a good amount of light and sun.

Mark, the owner, bought his apartment so his daughter would have an apartment in the best part of town when she goes to university one day (in over a decade!) but he's nice enough to share this treasure with visitors in the meantime. As he's very precise and professional about the rentals, guests will have a written agreement with him about all the details: for example, the damage deposit is charged by paypal before arrival and returned within 3 days of departure.

Everything!
Can't think of anything right now.
It worked!
Mary K on Feb 2017:
The apartment was well-maintained and the perfect size for me and my twin daughters. It was close to everything - the Eiffel Tower, the Metro, restaurants, and boulangeries/patisseries. It was such a delight to step out in the evening and see the Eiffel Tower lit up just down the street. Mark was very responsive to our inquiries in advance of our stay in Paris, and Edgar kindly stored our luggage in the apartment when we arrived prior to check-in. Would definitely stay there again!

Location, location, location.
Nothing. It was great. Directions for accessing the apartment were easy and accurate. It is a great location especially for the cost.
This was a my first time using the service. If this had been my only transaction, I would say I would use it again. Based on my subsequent transaction for a Barcelona location, I have changed my mind.

Jean Gulick on Mar 2015:
My husband, two teenage grandchildren and I stayed at the Suite Eiffel Tower from 3/27 to 3/31, 2015. Staying in an apartment in Paris, shopping for food, walking around the neighborhood, catching the local bus and feeling as if we blended into the culture was the highlight of our 5 day stay. The feeling of being a part of the city was new and exciting to all of us. The location of the apartment is it primary advantage. It is located in a quiet and secure area only 5 minutes from main bus routes and a vibrant street of small “commerces” as well as restaurants. The owner left a very thoughtful “welcome basket” which contained essential items that facilitated our arrival and first night in the apartment. My husband said that the “welcome basket” was “not just a nice touch but a great touch.” The two bedrooms in the apartment was the major draw for me, since we were basically 4 adults. The bedrooms were adequate size with the bonus of a large closet. The beds were comfortable. My husband, on the other hand, appreciated the elevator. The building was very quiet and we rarely saw the other people living in the building. In general, the apartment is a rare find in Paris: 2 bedrooms, elevator and located in the 7th arrondissement. The apartment is comfortable with a small living room, dining area and kitchen combined; the kitchen is well laid out. The bathroom is tiny but always had hot water and was stocked with ample towels. The apartment was clean, functional and well located. We appreciated several other amenities: the telephone (which we did not use), the stock of toilet paper, dish detergent, dishwasher detergent and washing machine detergent. One of the main advantages of our stay at the Suite Eiffel Tower came the last day of our visit: a ride to Charles De Gaulle Airport arranged by the caretaker of the building; the instructions for our stay had suggested that we arrange for this in advance. We would definitely recommend the Suite Eiffel Tower and would also return there in the future.
