This is the home of Sophie, quite a jet setter, who rents her place when she is traveling or on vacation. Thus, it's a very lived in place with all the positives and negatives:

In my opinion, some of the good things are: you will hardly have to buy basic cooking ingredients; you'll have some interesting books (in a foreign language, perhaps); it's someone's home so you'll feel homey and won't find that it's bare of the essentials. And, the price is great!

Some people don't like to stay in someone else's personal space where there are pictures of other peoples' children on the wall and perhaps less room for your own things as in a vacation rental.

That being said, this home is situated at the very beginning of Paris' outskirts, just across the river Seine and with the metro stop only a few minutes walk. You can basically reach any part of Paris within 30 minutes. It feels nice getting out here after a long day of sightseeing, as things are calmer than within the city. The people are more relaxed and there are plenty of good, authentic places to eat.

There's a great park in less than 10 minutes by foot, and lots of supermarkets and restaurants close by. One supermarket is really only around the corner and is open until 10 pm, and Sophie recommends the restaurant right next door as one of 'Boulogne's' treasures.

The apartment itself is exposed to the view of a green garden. There are three rooms all lined up along the corridor: two bedrooms and the living room (with king size sofa bed). There's also one (smallish) bathroom (with bright turquoise tub and sink) and a nice bright and fully equipped kitchen with a counter for breakfast or snacks. The entire place has been repainted in early 2014.
