I love Buse's flat. From the beautiful wood floors to the amazing views from the building's communal terraces - one that faces Galata bridge and a horizon filled with minarets, and the other that sits literally underneath Galata tower itself.

The apartment is large, with four bedrooms - two of them have single beds and the other two have double/kind size beds. One of the single rooms can also have a second single beds, sleeping a total of 7 people. There are two living rooms, one bathroom with tub that is accessed from the hall and a very well equipped kitchen.

There's a special balance that's hard to strike in vacation rentals where they have everything you'd want in a home, but you also feel like you aren't using someone else's stuff. Here, Buse has really hit the nail on the head. The place is so well put together and well furnished - not just artistically but it's also warm and functional, yet it doesn't feel too personal, like you're intruding on someone's space.

I'd say the place is ideal for families or for groups of friends or a few couples traveling together. The area around Galata is lively and fashionable and from there you can easily walk down to Galata bridge and cross over to the area of Sultanahmet or you can pass all the funky stores selling musical instruments and hit Istiklal Street and all the cafes and bars and antique stores in just a few minutes.
