![]() | Balcony and view, lift was very helpful. David laid out breakfast early for us one day. |
![]() | Beds were soft, a few hangers for pants would be nice, and a more obvious sign to indicate that the Residenza Guilia is on 5th floor. |
![]() | Neutral. |
![]() | Professional, nice room, prompt service and spoke English...would definitely go back again. in safe neighborhood with good restaurants and within walking distance of train station and museums. |
![]() | The view off the small porch and how nice the owner is. |
![]() | Would be nice to have a different color than pink for the room. |
![]() | Our luggage was lost for days and the owner was very helpful to make calls to the airport for us. Very nice people and always helpful. |
![]() | David guided us to the B&B and was well organized and willing to give us valuable information regarding the location, bus routes etc. He had a map for both couples and made quick easy notations on it for us to get around the city. They had information available in the guest area and a light breakfast was provided right there on the premises. The rooms were clean and sufficient. |
![]() | The hair dryer. It was difficult to use if at all. Some additional shelving or hooks in the bathroom to accommodate toiletries for a couple. Soap or shower gel. We brought our own but it would seem to provide gel or soap would be a small thing for B&Bs & yet helpful to guests. The room was smaller than anticipated (per the photos) as was the balcony. Terrible smell on the ground floor when entering the building. Smells like a sewage problem! |
![]() | This is our first experience using B&Bs & we are not sure we would go this route again. The rooms in each of the 3 B&Bs we used on this Italy tour we different sizes and quality. It would be good to know this ahead of time so that when making arrangements we would know exactly what would be in the room. Some rooms are large enough to accommodate a desk & some aren't. While all say free WiFi, it doesn't mean it will work in each room - some work & some don't. We explored a little while in each city and found that we could have stayed in a hotel w/similar quality and had more amenities provided. While the experience of being out of the 'activity' and more within the culture, we found the locations were often not in the best area and somewhat isolated - no real culture so to speak. The guests of the B&Bs rarely saw each other, lugging bags up several flights of stairs and so on was not always the best experience. Overall, it was good, but probably not something we would do again - but then? The service Cross-Pollinate provided was great and we are appreciative of this. Thank you. |
