Few steps from Duomo cathedral, in the historic centre of Florence, on Via Cavour in the heart of Renaissance Florence, this large and luxury apartment (120sqm), is located on the first floor in an old Florentine building built in the 19th century.

The apartment is apartment is very well furnished and can accommodate up to 7 people in 2 bedrooms + a living room with 1 double sofa bed.

One bedroom has a double and the other has 3 singles. There are two bathrooms with a shower stall and tub.

The apartment was very large, with two bathrooms, and both a refrigerator and freezer.
There was only one fan, no A/C ...so the manager brought a second fan because it was extremely hot. Although it is close to Termini (which is convenient), the area is pretty run down. We walked to a local restaurant and there was trash, graffiti, etc. We felt safe enough, but just set your expectations appropriately.
Cross-Pollinate was indispensable in finding places, making changes, keeping things straight, sending reminders, and being available with answers to questions.

Apartment was not clean and did not look like the pictures on the website. There were dirty dishes in the sink and it was very dusty. Also I was told by the website that this apartment would have wifi. This was a major reason why I chose this apartment. Therefore I was not happy when I arrived and learned that there is no wifi.

I'm not sure where the confusion came from, but this apartment does not have Wifi included. There is a USB modem that can be added for an additional cost but this guest did not request it, nor is it clear to us whether they asked for it on arrival.

Viviana met us and gave us an hour of her time explaining the washing machine, best sites to see and what times to go, restaurant recommendations, she was AMAZING!!! So friendly and genuinely wanted us to have the best experience in Florence! The Apartment was large and had everything we needed. It was a quick walk to all the sites. The air conditioner worked extremely well (and was much appreciated after some long hot days of sightseeing ;).

The location was an easy walk to Old Florence and the train station. The apartment owner was eager to offer suggestions for dining and things to see in the area. The apartment had new windows and was very quiet.
The apartment was not clean and tidy including the floors. The shower had mold growing in it and the mirrors in both bathrooms needed to be cleaned. Also, the ground level entry to the apartment and stairs areas were very dirty and could using some paint and cleaning up. The wifi service was not available for ipads and iphones, only for hard wired computers. Air-conditioning is only in the living room so, fans were required in the bedrooms.
Everything worked well with cross-pollinate. The address of the apartment was wrong and you notified us before we arrived.
