Casa delle Rose

Casa delle Rose is a beautiful three-room Bed & Breakfast located on Lido di Venezia, just three minutes from the boat stop to Venice (the boat takes 15 minutes to San Marco square). The owner, Stefano, opened the B & B in 2006, assisted by his mother, Elaine, an Englishwoman who has lived in Italy for 35 years and runs a well-known restaurant on Lido for the past 20 years. The apartment is very large, 215 square meters, and located on the first floor (no elevator) of a small classic Liberty style building from the '20s in a quiet residential neighborhood. The guestrooms are spacious and sunny, each with a queen-sized bed, and there's the possibility of adding an extra single bed to two of the rooms. Each room has satellite TV, a loveseat, and a mini-safe. The rooms are decorated in different color schemes, one in pink, one in green, and one in blue. The guestrooms share 2 bathrooms, and there is the possibility of having a private (not ensuite) bathroom for an additional 15 euros per night. The B & B has a kitchen and sitting room / dining room, where continental breakfast is served. A veranda off the kitchen offers a glimpse of the lagoon. The private garden offers a pleasant sitting area for guests to relax in warm weather.
