Giardini Guesthouse

Situated less than 20 minutes on foot to St. Mark's square and right beside the Modern Art Biennale site and the "Arsenale", Giardini Guesthouse is in a part of Venice that's considered off the beaten track, and still truly the Venice of the Venetians.

A little niche full of hospitality, the guesthouse is in the characteristic Castello quarter at the end of via Garibaldi, a well-known street which still maintains the features of old Venice with lovely views of the canals, and lots of particular little stores and eateries (vegetarian, organic, traditional).

The large attic room, which can sleep up to 4, offers a private ensuite bathroom (with tub!), air-conditioning, possibility of cooking, and WiFi. You get a beautiful view on the surrounding roofs from up here, and guests are welcome to use the small outside terrace.

Please note that the ceiling is low (about 1.70 meters) and there are steep stairs to climb to the attic.

The owners are smokers so in their private area (which you cross in order to get to the guestroom) you might detect a smell of cigarette smoke, although certainly not up in the attic.
