Situated less than 20 minutes by foot to St. Mark's square (a nice stroll along the beautiful shoreline Riva Schiavoni will take you there without getting you lost!) and right beside the Modern Art "Biennale" site and the "Arsenale", Appartamento ai Giardini sits in a part of Venice that's considered off the beaten track, and still truly the Venice of the Venetians: in the characteristic Castello quarter at the end of via Garibaldi, a well-known street which still maintains the features of old Venice with lovely views of the canals, and lots of interesting little stores and eateries (vegetarian, organic, traditional...)

There's a nice park very close by -- thus the name of the apartment, "Giardini", which basically is one Italian translation for "park".
