This is the perfect apartment for those who want to be close to the train station: a quick and easy walk, less than 10 minutes, and you're home. The apartment consists of a large living room, a good-sized kitchen, a bedroom, and a bathroom.
Not a huge amount of sunlight (which doesn't mean it's dark-- but it's a ground floor apartment), functional furniture. Overall: rather basic, but in a great position, a good budget accommodation for a couple or small family or someone who doesn't want to climb any steps. It's located on the ground floor, so if you are super-sensitive to noise you might want to bring some ear-plugs -- as you can hear people walk by and chat.
Most tourists attractions are within easy reach -- just a walk across the bridge, you'll be at San Marco (the heart of Venice in less than 10 minutes). On your side of the bridge is Campo Santa Margherita, famous for aperitivi and restaurants, and one of Venice's few large shopping streets, Strada Nova.
The owners, Arrigo and Riccardo, are two Venice 'adoptees', who manage everything themselves.
