Appartamento Turchette

Appartamento Turchette is a cute attic apartment with a lot of wood: wooden finishings, beams, and parquet floor, making it a warm and cozy retreat. It's situated on the top floor of an elegant apartment building (all apartments in the building are owned by the same family). It has a very intimate feel, lots of light, and a gorgeous view over the building's private garden and surrounding roofs. There's an entrance area with kitchenette, eating and sitting area, two bedrooms and a bathroom. One of the bedrooms is situated at the end of a long corridor, giving it the feeling of being somewhat tucked away.

Carlo, the owner, is a very pleasant and open-minded person. He manages another two vacation homes in the same building, and lives next door to Appartamento Turchette.

The area is great for a stroll, with the beautiful "Rio de La Romite" , nice restaurants, shops and wine bars right downstairs. The Accademia delle Belle Arti is only about a 2-minute walk away, as is its bridge. The bridge, Ponte dell'Accademia will take you across the Grand Canal, and to the area of Campo Santa Margherita, a famous meeting point for aperitivi and restaurants. The Venice train station is also only about a fifteen-minute walk away.
