B & B Roma Vaticano

B & B Roma Vaticano is a new B&B near the Vatican Museums which opened in April 2008. The B & B was entirely renovated and decorated by the original owners, creating 3 pleasant, spacious, bright guestrooms. As the B&B is on the 7th floor of the building, all 3 guestrooms, which face the street and share one long balcony, have a great view of the top of the dome of St. Peter's and the greenery surrounding the Vatican area. The rooms are decorated in a minimalist and youthful style, with colorful bedspreads and pictures contrasting with fresh white walls and simple furniture. Each room is equipped with satellite TV, DVD player, CD player, and mini-safe. The 3 rooms share 2 bathrooms, which have also been renovated. One bathroom has a bathtub with shower nozzle, while the other bathroom has a shower; both of course have toilet and sink as well. The owner provides a self-service style breakfast by leaving various breakfast items in a common area so that guests can take what they wish when they wake up, and eat breakfast in their rooms. The B&B is just near the entrance to the Vatican Museums and a short walk from St. Peter's Basilica; from the Vatican, it's also possible to walk to the rest of the historic center. It's only a 3-minute walk to the metro stop (Cipro/Musei Vaticani on the red line) and there are several bus stops nearby which makes it easy to get around the city.
