Giampy Guesthouse
Giampy Guesthouse is managed by a group of friends who started out back in 2000 for the Jubilee year and have since come a long way! Their dedication to the work made them successful, so they have now expanded and opened other guesthouses and are quite busy, but they haven't forgotten about their 'baby', Giampy, so a lot of time, effort and money have gone into remodeling its rooms and improving comfort and amenities.

There are 5 guestrooms, all with private bathroom (3 rooms with ensuite bathroom, 2 not ensuite). The rooms are bright, with high ceilings, recently renovated, and are equipped with flatscreen TV as well as air-conditioning.

Located next door to one of Rome's oldest basilicas, Santa Maria Maggiore, it's just a few short blocks from Termini Station and all of Rome's public transportation links.

Breakfast is included-- there will be either warm pastries or warm bread and of course tea and coffee. There's also a shared refrigerator and tea- and coffee-making facilities as well as a drinking fountain in the common area.

The only room that has been somewhat 'left behind' in the process of makeover is the entrance/common area which does not reflect the style and comfort of the other rooms. But it's the next project on the list!

English and French are both spoken fluently by your hosts, who are very knowledgeable about Rome and will be happy to help you with museum bookings or other requests you may have.

Great location close to Metro and walking distance to everything good to eat and drink. Awesome host (Andrea) who made us feel at home. Much appreciation for Domenico who helped us find the place when we got lost.
Absolutely nothing. What a great place to stay. Great things to eat in the morning. Loved it and would return in a heart-beat
Good service and how they network together with other others. Highly recommend.
Michèle on Feb 2014:

The large room with 2 large beds very comfortable, room very well equipped, towels changed every 2 days, room and bathroom very clean.
The TV screen, small for the big room and we did not find a channel in French !!! (but we were in Rome to watch TV).
We received all the information needed, quick answer to our emails, very serious.
Stephen on May 2011:

Great location, near Termini station allowed us to avoid renting a car for the Rome portion of our trip.
Breakfast was simple and plain. Adaquate if you're in a hurry for a quick bite but go to a nearby cafe for somthing tastier.
Easy online reservation using cross-pollinate.
Amy on May 2012:
Staff was EXTREMELY NICE and EXTREMELY HELPFUL! He provided us with a map which he highlighted tourist attractions, good restaurants, and famous gelateria's. he even gave us some home made limoncello. He even helped us navigate which trains and buses to take to get to anywhere we wanted. He was amazing!
