Run by friendly young brothers Giampiero and Enrico and located on the side of Rome’s historic Piazza Vittorio, Mr Frills B&B is just a fifteen-minute walk from Rome’s main train station (Termini) and the ancient Roman Colosseum. The high-ceilinged, modern apartment offers four rooms and a large open lounge where a light breakfast is served each morning and guests also have access to a computer and internet access.

Located on the "piano nobile" of the building, an Italian term for the only floor of the apartment building which has balconies, the apartment offers two large, bright rooms illuminated by balconies that overlook the Piazza below. Furnished with large double beds and newly renovated en-suite shower rooms, these rooms offer the perfect base from which to explore the local multi-ethnic neighbourhood that bustles below each balcony.

At the back of the apartment is another double room, this one cosy but still contemporary, that looks out over the courtyard below and also comes with an en-suite. The final room is on two levels, offering a large double bed in the loft and a sofa-bed below, both with access to the en-suite shower, which makes it perfect for families.

Giampiero and Enrico are travellers themselves, and speak Italian, English, French, Spanish and Portuguese between them which makes them more than suited to help their guests explore the best of what Rome has to offer. For those wishing to see as much as possible, the apartment is just a two-minute walk from metro station Vittorio Emanuele, with direct links to Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano, the Spanish Steps, and the Vatican City.
