Wellness Inn Rome
Wellness Inn gets my highest praise. The pictures don't capture how much a calm oasis this place is. Located about a 15 minute walk from Termini station, just across the street from the British Embassy, you arrive on the the 4th floor (with elevator), and enter the flat that's divided between the owner's side and the two guest rooms, which are totally independent. Between the two rooms is a little breakfast prep area that has a fridge, coffee and tea making stuff and other breakfast items. Once in the rooms, there is total silence, sunlight and a nice view over the gardens of the embassy across the street. You really feel high up and removed from the city below.

Each room is well designed and color coordinated which creates a wonderful sense of harmony. One room can be either a double or can have twin beds. The other room is a fixed double. Each room has a breakfast table and a large, modern bathroom with a big, walk-in shower stall with steam shower.

The owner, Emanuela, is super nice and has clearly put her heart into this. It's a great choice for someone who wants the style of a boutique hotel, with the personal touch of a B&B, at a price that's incredibly reasonable.

Very accommodating and helpful hosts. Quiet and restful neighborhood and location. Healthy and tasteful breakfast. Clean modern and spacious room.
Chuck on Sep 2017:

The room was good all the way around. Ample space in bedroom and kitchenette. Our hostess printed out tickets to Forum and Coleseum- communicated in getting us a taxi to the airport- printed boarding passes and was very responsive- which was great. Her pleasant personality added to our stay in Rome.
Sometimes Rome has a problem with water- just know that beforehand and be patient.

Clean, modern, bright and cheery room within walking distance of restaurants Sites and the Termini train station. Breakfast was conveniently left in the Kitchen. The cappuccino maker was an added bonus.
The shower handle control is difficult to turn in order to operate.
We enjoyed our stay at Wellness Inn. Vivian went above and Beyond to make us feel welcome and to help us navigate in And around the city. Cross-Pollinate was instrumental in facilitating The details of our stay and our airport transfer. It was nice to have An insiders perspective !

Our vacation in Rome was amazing and unforgettable, and the Wellness Inn deserves a lot of credit. The location was great. 5 minuets walk from the Republic square. Everything was close - The Termini, the old city, the bars and restaurants, and yet the room and the apartment is located in a relative quiet street. The room was amazing- Everything was very clean, the kitchen was equipped with coffee machine, cereals, cookies, orange juice, and all kind of dishes. The shower contained towels, bathrobes, shampoo, and even the tap has many kind of streams, and steam. Even the bed and the mattress was very comfortable. There was also a safe in the room, and it was cleaned including the dishes by the house keeper. Emanuela is a great host. It was easy to make a contact with her even before we arrived, and was very flexible with us when we stayed. When we'll get back to Rome we we are definitely coming back to the Wellness Inn. We were very surprised to find out that everything that was mentioned in the Cross-Pollinate regarding the place was true. It's funny since we were expecting some inaccuracies and thought that the pictures of the place were too good to be true, but eventually everything was just perfect as was described in advance.

The room was great, with an absolutely fabulous shower. I didn't expect that level of quality for the price I paid. Fantastic breakfasts were ready for us each day before we got up. Emanuela was a lovely host, and made us feel very welcome. The information she left us in the room was extremely helpful, particularly for the buses. She even left us a note one day warning us that there would be a transportation strike, which was a nice touch.
Whilst not something that can be improved as such, the location of the accommodation will not suit everyone. There is a bus stop outside, but we found ourselves walking a lot. The Termini isn't too far away though.
I originally intended to stay at the Beehive, but Cross-Pollinate helpfully recommended me some other accommodation instead, eventual leading me to Wellness Inn.

My wife and I stayed at Wellness Inn in Rome (a small bed and breakfast, only 2 guest rooms) for 6 nights in May 2014. It was a very nice experience. The owner was very helpful and friendly, even taking the time to answer my questions by email and provide advice even before we arrived. We liked the location, it is walking distance from Termini, the large train/bus/subway station, and most of our outings used public transportation starting at Termini, since we did not get a rental car. The room was very clean and comfortable, and quite modern. There was free Wi-Fi, which worked very reliably. It is just across from the British embassy, so there was a significant police presence and the neighborhood felt very safe. It is on the fourth floor, but there is an elevator if you don't like stairs.
The tv had over 400 stations, but most were in foreign languages. It would help if the owner could provide a one page listing of the "best" stations, perhaps the top 5 stations for several languages, such as English, Italian, French, German.
I used the Cross-Pollinate web site to search for an appropriate place to stay and selected the Wellness Inn and provided my deposit. The web site worked very well, the instructions were very clear, and all the charges were identified up front so there were no surprises.

Pretty much everything...
Didn't much care for chocolate yoghurt, but otherwise, the breakfast was nice.
Worked well.
Cindi French on Apr 2014:

Great breakfast, very comfortable and cute. Good location for train station and restaurants. Host was so helpful and friendly. Offered us a much needed cappuccino upon arrival.
Nothing. Wouldn't change a thing.
Amy was so helpful. Made planning a vacation so much easier. Loved the suggested stays!

Size and clealiness of the room
Shower is complicated to use
Irene Carvajal on Oct 2013:

The room was spacious, clean and beautiful. Emannuela is also extremely helpful, answered all my questions and had written directions to attractions, food and amenities close by. After a long day of walking that shower was heaven!
Very helpful, available any time. Expedient with answers to my questions.
S Topham on Oct 2013:

Wellness Inn is conveniently located close to the train and metro stations. It was a very comfortable place to stay while we visited Rome. The hostess was very helpful, particularly when our flight arrived hours late. She helped reschedule a pick up from the airport in the middle of the night and waited up for us.
Cross-Pollinate was very helpful in finding a place that fit our budget and our desired. It was great!
Sarah on Sep 2013:

Terrific location across from British Embassy - so leafy green view out the window. Easy to get everywhere from nearby Metro stations - or on foot. Nespresso caffe machine and nice little breakfast each morning. Very bright, cheerful and modern - with especially luxe shower featuring multiple spigot styles (rain water overhead, side jets or hand-held. The owner Emanuela was very kind and helpful ... provided recommendations on local restaurants which we tested with a close-by enoteca that was indeed terrific. Also good to note that there is a lift, so no issues getting luggage (or your tour-weary body) up to the 4th floor.
A few challenges with the shower door seal, which I shared with Emanuela so I imagine they'll be fixed shortly.
All good.
