Small Luxury in the Vatican B&B
Although the name already pretty much says it all, we'll still tell you the things you'd want to know:
-- yes, small luxury: treat yourself! Nicely furnished, spacious rooms, just outside of the Vatican and with a view of the basilica. Almost roof-top: extremely bright rooms, breakfast served in room, mini-bar, fridge, private bathroom, free WiFi... the luxury's there, and it's not even that small. Oh wait, the price is!
-- about a two-minute walk from Saint Peter's Basilica, a few steps more to the metro (A line, Ottaviano stop), very centrally located.

Maurizio, the owner, has taken on this gem of a B&B just recently, and is very eager to do a great job!

Location, good service, simple but functional and nice room
Breakfast (too many very sweet items for my liking) Very hot in the building and to a lesser degree in the room (this may not be easy to fix - maybe a better a/c unit?)

The building and the apartments were very clean and centrally-located but also felt very secure and safe. Friendly, hospitable staff who spoke good English. Grace was particularly helpful, friendly, and available on-site for anything I needed.
Incredibly easy booking on-line. The photos and descriptions were accurate and very thorough. I was entirely pleased with the entire process.
