![]() | Loved the location! Tony (host) is a very nice, helpful man. We enjoyed a little terrace time every day. Big, comfortable bed in the 2nd floor bedroom. |
![]() | The bathroom & kitchen would benefit from a little paint & updating. This is not a complaint - just a tip for fellow travelers: If you are a light sleeper bring earplugs (we always do). There are 2 convenient restaurants downstairs that dispose of the bottles either late at night or early morning. |
![]() | I've said it before and I'll say it again - since 2009 Steve always patiently and accurately steers us to a variety of very good accomodations suited to our price range. We've never been disappointed - just pleasantly surprised! |
![]() | Tony was there waiting for us in the apartment. He got us settled in and gave us a list of nearby shops and restaurants. The apartment is perfectly situated in the middle of Rome. The apartment was very clean and adequate for our needs. It was the perfect home base for us to explore Rome. A number of bus routes passed by the apartment and it was easy to get to the Vatican, the Coliseum and many other popular sites. However, the apartment was quiet at night and it was easy to forget that you were in the middle of the city. The patio was pleasant for sitting on in the evening. The elevator (lift) was also a handy thing to be able to get the luggage in and out of the building. We were very happy staying there and we appreciate Tony's hospitality. |
![]() | Tony met us at the apartment and did a quick orientation. He was also helpful in pre-planning suggesting vendors for transportation and luggage storage. The location was convenient as we were able to walk to all of the key sites in Rome. The area was safe and the apartment was as expected. |
![]() | Just a reminder that there is no air conditioning. |
![]() | Tony was great with communication. He accommodated our late arrival which was due to a delayed train. The apartment is very centrally located. It is walking distance to everything; 20 minutes to the Coliseum, 20 minutes to the Vatican. A grocery store is a couple of minutes away. |
