Beril's is a newly renovated flat in a 108 year old Greek building, located in the historical district of Beyoglu, aka Pera. Across the street from the British Consulate, the flat is literally a 2 minute walk from the lively night life district Nevizade which is next to the famous Istiklal Street. Although the street can look a bit rough, it's actually right next to the district's police station, so safety is guaranteed. The neighborhood is very diverse and across the street is the border of Istiklal and about a 1,000 place to eat and drink. There's a supermarket at the bottom of the building as well, open 24/7 and a bus stop in front of the building. With Taxim square a 5 minute walk away, it's easy to get anywhere in the city.

Renovated and decorated by Beril, who cared to preserve its historical character, it feels stylish, clean and cozy and you can feel that a lot of attention has gone into little details - thrift store objects and art make the place feel much more than just a typical rental. When you enter the flat, you are in the dining room with the open kitchen is on your right. Behind the dining room is the living room which opens to the balcony that overlooks the main street. The bedroom is on the right of the living room and the bathroom is located between the living room and the bathroom.

The only downside is that the apartment is on the 5th floor with no elevator. But once you reach the top, you'll find cosiness and peace with everything you need. The kitchen has all the necessary utensils and there is a chic selection of movies to watch and the balcony is always there, serving as an observatory to the bustling and vast city below. Beril also provides city transportation cards, a pay-as-you-go Turkish SIM card for cell phones, and will give you an orientation of the neighborhood and suggestions of where to eat and what to see.
