The Blue Rose B & B
The Blue Rose is located south of Termini train station near Piazza Vittorio, where there are lots of markets and restaurants, including the biggest fruit and vegetable market in Rome (Esquilino market at Piazza Vittorio) which is perfect for those who want to take advantage of the communal kitchen at the B & B. The owners allow guests to store food in the refrigerator to prepare light meals and heat water for coffee, tea, etc., but cooking meals is not permitted. There is a nearby metro station that connects quickly to Vatican City and Piazza di Spagna, while the sights of ancient Rome, such as the Colosseum and Roman Forum, are a short walk away. The B & B is basic but comfortable, and rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, TV, and double-glazed windows to keep it quiet inside. Guests should be aware that breakfast does not get rave reviews as it's a very light version of Italian breakfast with few choices available.
Please note that for a reservation of only 1 day, the check-in must be done before 8.00pm. For parties of 5 the 'group room' is a double and triple room that are united by a connecting door.
