Cimatori Bed & Breakfast
Cimatori is located across the street from Dante Aleghieri's house in the heart of the historic center of Florence. The masterpieces of the Uffizi, the Ponte Vecchio, and the Duomo are all just a few short, cobblestone steps away. The rooms, which have parquet floors and original wood beam ceilings, are a stylish combination of modern comfort carved out of an old world stone building. There's wifi, private bathrooms, air-conditioning, double-glazed windows and TVs in all the rooms. The B&B is divided between two floors - on the first floor there are two rooms and a small kitchen with self-serve breakfast. On the next floor up are the original rooms, a common room for breakfast, reception and a computer guests can use. For families, there's a quad/family from (pictured) that's like a suite - quite spacious.

Cimatori is meticulously run by Domenico, whose friendly charm mixes well with classically elegant place.

Location ! Location! Location ! This is the best location possible in Florence. Short walk to almost all the touristy places as well as the train station. Very clean and well maintained. There is a supermarket and couple of good restaurants right under.
They could keep soap in the bathrooms and not just shampoos
Great experience in dealing with cross pollinate.
Kathleen Cooper on Jan 2015:

Location sensational, close to Ponte Vecchio and Duomo Easy walk from the station Very clean and organised Great view of a tall tower from the front room Yummy home baked apple cake for breakfast and hot pastries
Beds rolled away from the wall when you tried to sit against the bed head! No internet one night (not the owners fault, just frustrating) Very noisy in front room due to street noise, bring ear plugs!
They are fantastic!. Our phones would not work in Italy and whenever we contacted C-P they contacted the B and B owners for us. So helpful and easy to deal with. We really appreciated your service and would recommend to others. Thank you. AAA+

Location was perfect. Right in the middle of great restaurants, near the Duomo, close to the train station.
Breakfast was not served until 8:30 AM, which was too late for us because we had to meet the tour buses earlier. Earlier start for breakfast would be better.
Cross-Pollinate was great. Very helpful.

Great location. Close to all the main sites you would want to visit as a tourist. Right in the center of many good restaurants and shops. The hosts are always smiling. very helpful with information about everything, and offered to carry our bags up and down 2 flights of stairs. Good breakfast too.
Really tiny accommodations. Our bedroom was not nearly as large as the pictures show in the listing. And it was the tiniest shower I have ever used in my life! Not sure if they gave me the room that I had reserved and paid for. Also, the walls are really thin, so you can hear your neighbors, especially loud when someone flushes the toilet.
Very easy to book, no issues.

Will use CP again if we are so lucky and will recommend to friends!!

Location and view from the rooftop terrace.
Not much!
Really helpful website. Easy to book and good communication.
Eugenie and mark on Apr 2014:

The bed and breakfast was spotless! Domenico and Valeria were both extremely helpful and nice. The location couldn't have been better. Hands down the best place we stayed in our 10 day trip (4 cities) in Italy. The room and bathrooms are understandably smaller but definitely enough room for two.
Cross-pollinate was easy to use and the staff is very responsive.
S Topham on Oct 2013:

A great experience using Cross-Pollinate.

No issues. Perfect experience. Would use again, for sure.
Vince Salupo on Jun 2013:

The clean and contemporary furnishings were nice. The location was phenomenal. The owner was very accommodating when we checked out and needed to leave our luggage. A great place to stay.
All was good. A washer on the premises would be incredibly helpful.
Site was good gateway to the B&B but since I found the location before Cross-polinate, the site wasn't much more than a portal for my reservation. Didn't find anything in Rome that met our needs.
anonymous on Apr 2013:

The room is stylish and the location is, well, optimal. The people were very kind, and patient with my lack of Italian, and had very helpful tips as well. The wifi worked very well.
First experience: a great solution. I much prefer this to a corporate hotel, and the price is ok for what you get.
