Il Bargello is a new bed and breakfast situated in the very heart of downtown Florence. The B&B is literally a stone's throw away from all the famous monuments (Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio, Uffizi Gallery and Piazza Della Signoria), bringing this beautiful city right up to your doorstep. B&B Il Bargello, housed in a 15th century historical building, was painstakingly refurbished by owners Gabriella and Massimo. They restored the original wood beam and brick ceilings, while also adding new amenities such as satellite TV and Internet hook-up. They recently finished work on their private rooftop terrace which is now available for guests to relax and enjoy the view overlooking the city. Gabriella, a Canadian who is fluent in English, French, and Italian, is full of good suggestions for where to go, what to see, and the best places to eat to help you make the most of your stay in Florence.
