Apartamento Milans Rojo and Apartamento Milans Dorado are two colorful, stylish apartments on the same floor of a 120-year-old building in the Barrio Gòtico area, a 5-minute walk from Las Ramblas and 10 minutes to the beach Barceloneta. Each apartment has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom, and Dorado can sleep up to 3 people (with a single sofabed in the living room), while Rojo can sleep up to 4 people (with 2 single sofabeds in the living room). Both apartments are bright and magnificently furnished, with mostly '60s and '70s vintage pieces specially chosen by the young owner, Cristina, who prides herself on not taking the "Ikea" route as so many other budget accommodations do. They even boast murals painted by the artist Gustavo Marrone, adding to the originality of the decor. Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with all new appliances, as well as air-conditioning, washer/dryer, TV, stereo, and free WiFi, giving guests all the modern comforts. The two apartments share a long balcony off their living rooms, which faces onto the oldest square of the city, the exquisite Plaza Milans.
