| My family of 4 was on a last minute trip to Europe this summer and we were making lodging decisions with only a couple of days notice. We looked through Cross Pollinate and found a reasonably priced flat in or near the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona. We needed a quick response from the owner since it was only a day from our arrival. The owner was quick to respond, met us at the flat (even though we arrived pretty late in the day due to our flight being delayed), and welcomed us. The unit itself is a good size for a family of 4 and had everything we needed. Refrigerator, stove, washer, comfortable beds, working tv, AC, and an elevator. The shower was great too! The location is an easy walk to different Squares, La Rambla, food, espresso, groceries, and the ocean. I would stay here again. |

| We absolutely loved our stay at the Codols Flat! The location was perfect - it was very quiet the three nights we were there, it's a quick walk to a Metro stop, the waterfront, a couple of sweet plazas where we enjoyed sitting for a meal and people watching. The owner was there to greet us, the apartment was extremely clean, very well equipped, all the amenities worked and we were very comfortable. The owner was very giving of his time; he recommended sites to see, restaurants (which were great!) and left us with a lovely bottle of wine! What's not to love?! I'll definitely be back to The Codols Flat. |
| Nothing to do with the apartment, but I do agree - the lobby is a bit musty smelling. The flip side is that the lobby windows and door are always closed and locked to guarantee our safety...so I will happily put up with a little musty air! |
| We booked an extensive trip with Cross-Pollinate and they were fantastic! We had to change our dates (which had a ripple effect on our multiple apartment reservations) and they handled all our requests quickly and without hassle. Super cool! I've been recommending them every time I hear someone planning a trip! Bravo! |

| The location of the apartment was wonderful. Although the street is small, it is withing walking distance to many great restaurants, the metro, and Las Ramblas. I know others have commented about the noise from the bar downstairs but it really didn't bother me at all. Mark, the owner was very helpful and was always prompt in responding to any emails I sent. It was just my husband and I that stayed in the apartment so we had plenty of room to spread out. The apartment would be fine for four people but it might get a little too cozy with five or six. It was wonderful to be able to have a kitchen to prepare a little quick something to eat. |

| This was my first time using Cross-Pollinate and it was a hassle free experience. My only regret is I wish you were in more cities - you guys are great! |

| Bedrooms face noisy street; earplugs somewhat helpful unless you are a light sleeper. Of course, we were there over the holidays- perhaps less partying way into the night at other times. |

| Mark was a great host. He was organized and responsible, sending us detailed information on how to get to the flat, and meeting us at our convenience upon our arrival. He was extremely responsive and came over on our second day to show us how to use TV and washing machine. Location is wonderful and extremely convenient. Apartment is quite spacious. |
| Some of the appliances and furniture could be updated. As Mark warned us, the stove was a bit tricky to use but we did manage to get it to work. On our last night we tried to use the microwave, which looked relatively new, but could not figure out how to get it to work. We didn't call him because it was already kind of late. I echo the previous comments about the noise late at night from people leaving the Red Rocket (nice and funky bar, just not when trying to sleep). It was winter when we were there but I imagine it would be even noisier with the windows open. |

| The apartment is in a lovely street (carrer) in an area full of character which is convenient to La Rambla and public transport as well as many restaurants and cafes. We enjoyed Placa Geore Orwell which was our local placa (square). |
| No improvements are necessary within the apartment.Prospective tenants however should be aware that there is a late night bar below the apartment. It did not have loud music but there is some crowd noise which adds to the local experience but could affect sleep. |

| The comfort, cleanliness, and location. We highly enjoyed the privacy and ambiance of the flat. The owner was very helpful and friendly and provided valuable information on not just the flat but about the city upon our arrival. It had all comfort and necessities needed. The location can't be beat. We were walking distance from metro, restaurants, the harbor, columbus monument, Las Ramblas, and trendy restaurants. we were also 10-15 min short walking distance to the Picasso Museum, The Barcelona Catedral, park de la Ciutadella. Using the metro and bus is super easy and user friendly. We took the metro to go to Montjuic. We also used the bus to go to Parc Guell and FC Barcelona Stadium. Price and location can't be beat. |

| Could use some new pillows. The current ones have are quite flat. There is a bar below next door on the street level. It is quite noisy late on Friday and Saturday. Be forewarned and bring some ear plugs, so a night of bar noise doesn\'t affect your next day of touring. |
