Studio Maignon is a comfortable, cozy studio apartment located in the residential Gràcia area of Barcelona. The main room of the apartment is the living room / bedroom. It has a double bed and a sofabed which can fold out for a third person. There's also a small dining table that seats 3 people. The kitchenette and the bathroom are separated from the main room with a set of glass doors. There's a spacious terrace (almost 30 square meters) on the inner part of the building -- there's no real view in particular, but it's still a pleasant area for eating meals outside or relaxing. The apartment is brightly decorated in vivid colors and best suited to a couple or a couple with a child. It's equipped with air-conditioning, TV, DVD player, CD player, hair dryer, iron, and washing machine. The owners can provide a baby crib upon request. Paid parking is available as well as an airport transfer service from the owners.

The apartment owners, Simone, an Italian who has lived in Barcelona for years, and his Spanish wife Sandra, are very welcoming and helpful, and between the two of them they speak several different languages.

The trendy, artsy Gràcia area is very sought-after these days among Barcelona residents. It's a great location for tourists as well, because you're away from the chaos of the Old City and Las Ramblas, but still very well-connected by metro and within 10 minutes or so by metro to any of the tourist sights. The UNESCO World Heritage Site Park Güell designed by Gaudí (think fairy tale-like architecture, the mosaic salamander statue, and great views!) is only a 10-minute walk. The area is full of interesting shops, restaurants, cafes, and night spots.
