We're an American couple who moved to Rome, Italy in 1999 to open The Beehive, a small, eco-friendly, artsy budget hotel with a vegetarian, organic cafe.
In our first year we were turning away so many people that we started Cross-Pollinate, a way for us to suggest other places to stay that can be reserved through us. Now we and our staff travel around and find places that we can recommend. That's my daughter Paloma taking pics of a B&B in Florence.
